Mrs. Sevy began subbing here at Christ Lutheran when her daughter enrolled in the school. She then filled a part-time position teaching 2nd grade in the mornings. She has been teaching 2nd grade full time at Christ Lutheran School since 2014.
Mrs. Sevy and her husband, Scott, both grew up in Palos Verdes and are raising their three children, one biological, and two adopted. They enjoy worshipping, teaching children God’s Word, and raising awareness for the needs of foster children and orphans. Their favorite activities involve spending time with family and friends, and once-in-a-while having a much needed “date night” without kids!
Mrs. Sevy’s favorite verse is: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.”
