7th Grade is playing the Stock Market in Computer Class!

Seventh graders are learning how the stock market functions by purchasing shares in companies listed in the "Techno Stock Exchange." First they made their initial investment with $400 "techno dollars" in their possession, deciding which stocks to buy. After reading the "Money & Markets" synopsis of the companies, they discovered if they made or lost money. They were able to buy and/or sell their stocks as they wished. Of course all of these trades are being charted, formatted and graphed in Excel. The final trade is yet to come. I hope they all come out ahead!
