A chapel full of transformers!

Our theme verse for the month is Romans 12:2 "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing, and perfect." We spoke about how God transforms unattractive things, like tadpoles and caterpillars, into beautiful things, like butterflies and frogs. We spoke about how God's word can change us from conformers to TRANSFORMERS! We can turn away from bullying, teasing, gossip, disrespect, and more because Christ died for us and the Holy Spirit lives in our fearfully and wonderfully made bodies. One student from each grade level was recognized for being a great model of this revelation: 1st grade Edson Blechner, 2nd grade Lala Menzel, 3rd grade Grace Stephens, 4th grade Willow Lewis, 5th grade Margery Blechner, 6th grade Aidan Gilbert, 7th grade Ben Hickerson, and 8th grade Maggy Rivas. CONGRATS!
