The campus may be CLOSED, but we are OPEN for remote learning!

Your Christ Lutheran teachers mobilized very quickly, with little advance notice, and jumped right into providing remote learning. Each classroom teacher has employed different methods and technologies to stay engaged with students and to keep daily routines going as much as possible. Some of the tools teachers are implementing and using at applicable grade levels are Google Classroom, Zoom Video Conferencing, and pre-recorded video assignment platforms. Some teachers have also been able to bring all of their students together with video conferencing so classmates can engage in real time to share stories, pray together, and to ask questions about assignments.

Christ Lutheran is working to continue to provide families with the necessary tools to continue remote learning as we walk through this together with you day-by-day. This uncharted territory has been difficult for our teachers, but they have prayerfully met the challenge head-on and are eager to stay connected to students daily.

We are thankful for the support we are receiving from our Pacific Southwest District and all the resources available to our teachers from the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod website. We are not alone in this endeavor. We have the strengthening support of over 2,000 Lutheran Schools in the LCMS and over 250 schools in the PSD (Pacific Southwest District).

Below are links to a few online resources provided by sites we trust to share the Truth of God through Bible lessons, devotionals, family games and activities. We pray these resources will help you navigate this new season we find ourselves in together. We look forward to seeing how God uses this time of remote learning, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
